
Shubira, the baby mama and
ex-lover of comedian Maulana Kasozi, can finally relax because she won't have
to chase after the comedian in order to pay for rent and school fees.
The mother of three expressed her joy that law enforcement had been able to
persuade Maulana to contribute at least Shs 7 million of the Shs 10 million
Shubira needs to pay for her children's rent, food, school fees, and medication
each year.
Maulana was hauled by Shubira to the police, where she accused him of not
supporting her children financially and familially since their breakup due to
miscommunications.
After spending two days behind
coolers after being apprehended as a chicken thief while he tried to elude law
enforcement, Maulana was presented before the chief magistrate of Mwanga II
Road Court.
With a week to pay the remaining Shs3 million in bond, Maulana was freed.
Shubira gave the people assurance that she would stop requesting things from
her ex-lover in public appearances.
Next year, she claimed, she would only step out in public if Maulana refused to
fulfill his commitments.
