Early this month, the rapper, real name Ivan Wabwire, revealed that he was severing ties with his manager, Rinah of Savaam Music, and that he would take control of his own management through his own label, Tokopa Force.Da Agent, a rapper noted for his rapid-fire delivery, claimed today (Thursday) that Savaam Music was holding him back and separating him from his history.
He claimed that when they saw him straying from rap music to other genres, many of his followers began to criticize.
He claims that he was aware that he needed to remain consistent with his music in order to live up to this tradition, but he also noticed that his management was pressuring him to sing rather than rap."It got to the point where what I wanted and what my fans wanted was not what the management was pushing," he stated.
When the celebrity was constantly interacting with the audience on social media, I saw that we were losing out to them.
"I could see that the management was leading me in a different direction than the fans desired."
According to Da Agent, his lifelong ambition has been to become known as the nation's fastest rapper.
Immediately following high school, he began rapping.
He claims that American rappers like Eminem, Busta Rymes, and Twista, known for his chopper-style rapping and once held the Guinness World Records for quickest English-speaking rapper, were the inspirations for his music.
