At the "Tondeka
Ekiwatule" concert on Boxing Day, there was a touching turn of events when
artist Bebe Cool joined the stage with his daughter Beata Ssali, and introduced
the audience to Praise, his recently discovered young talent. The crowd was
delighted by their performance.
Praise's performance of
Whitney Houston's timeless song "I Will Always Love You" delighted
the audience even more. The amount of skill on exhibit was highlighted by Beata
and Praise's duet, which left attendees amazed and wanting more.
Prominent media figure Daggy
Nice made Praise's skills known by facilitating a crucial meeting between the
talented young vocalist and Bebe Cool.
Daggy Nice claims that Praise,
a Senior Two student, is well-known for her amazing vocals, which she has
performed live bands at a number of venues. Praise's father, who was well-known
for his tireless work, would frequently go to the houses of strangers and beg
to sing in return for food.
Daggy Nice decided to present
Praise to Bebe Cool after being struck by her golden voice. After much pleading
and convincing, Bebe Cool finally consented to meet Praise, which signaled the
start of an exciting musical career.
Beata Ssali, Bebe Cool's daughter, sang her father's hit song, "Love You Every Day," on stage during the event.
