In a recent interview,
musician and media figure Detacha Sakalaman admitted that he put an end to his
promising music career because it wasn't profitable.
Detacha had experienced an
incredible adventure in the music world. He was soon on the verge of celebrity
thanks to his distinctive tone and compositions, which attracted attention
right away.
Detacha, however, began to
understand the harsh realities that frequently go along with artistic endeavors
as he delved deeper into the music industry.
It was becoming harder for him
to make ends meet, even with his obvious talent and the great response to his
music.
According to Detacha
Sakalaman, not everyone who makes their living from music is as dependent as
Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, Jose Chameleone, Spice Diana, and Sheebah. The industry's
lack of profitability has prompted them to pursue different projects instead.
In addition to disappointing
his followers and admirers, Detacha's decision brought attention to the
frequently disregarded difficulties that artists confront in a field where
financial success is the primary motivator.
Even after leaving the music
business, Detacha Sakalaman isn't letting go of his passion for music.
Through alternate channels,
including his radio shows at Galaxy FM and multiple interviews, he still
creates and shares his art.
