Bobi Wine, the President of
the National Unity Platform, greeted struggling musician Ibrahim Mayanja, also
known as Big Eye, when he formally joined last week.
Big Eye said he is already
sensing hope and a new lease on life with NUP after spending years in alignment
with NRM.
Family, friends, and NUP
supporters showered him with love and support for taking this decision, and he
was greeted with open arms.
"In NUP, I see life and
hope." While I was with NRM, I wasn't leading the greatest life possible.
Although I was releasing music, it was never
heard by a larger audience. I see a new, refreshed version of myself now,"
he said.
According to Big Eye, he will
never regret joining NUP because it was the best choice he has ever made.
