Singer Catherine Kusasira gave an
update on her health journey after undergoing heart surgery overseas lately.
Yesterday's treatment was carried out following weeks of struggling with
breathing issues, which led her to decide to seek medical care overseas.
Kusasira began her recuperation
process when it was announced on social media that her surgery had been successful.
Her supporters and well-wishers, who have been attentively following her health
updates, are relieved to hear the news.
In the wake of the encouraging news, speculation regarding Kusasira's plans to
visit Canada surfaced on social media. Given that her husband and one of their
sons had already moved there, some speculated that she was applying for asylum,
which begged the question of her possible long-term intentions.
It is not unusual for Ugandan
celebrities to leave the nation and never return; many people come as tourists
at first, but then apply for asylum. This story is further enhanced by
Kusasira's situation, which raises questions about her future goals and whether
or not she will go back to Uganda after her recuperation.
Recent images of Kusasira in the hospital, however, indicate that she is still
concentrating on her health in the hopes of soon being able to travel back to
Uganda. The singer's supporters are still sending their well wishes and
encouragement along, knowing that she will eventually take the stage again.
