Many famous people launch their jobs at a young age, delaying their education. While some of these people appreciate education and work to earn their bachelor's degrees later in life, others believe that popularity isn't everything.
Douglas Mayanja, better known by his stage name Weasel Manizo, is one such popular artist who hopes to return to school.
Dr. Jose Chameleone, Weasel's brother, who just received his doctorate in international relations and diplomacy at Cavendish University, inspired him to pursue his education further.
Weasel stated his desire to return to school during an appearance on NTV's "The Beat" program, but he had one requirement: night classes.
"I have a desire to return to school, but the only viable option for me would be if there were night classes available," Weasel told me.
Weasel's admission is in line with the goals of other musicians like Gravity Omutujju and Rema Namakula, who intend to go back to school to take business and music courses, respectively.
