According to recent reports, the music competition between
Sheebah and Cindy Sanyu would take place at Kololo Airstrip.
Singers Sheebah and Cindy have been teasing one another
during their separate news conferences for a few weeks now, each claiming that
they booked Kololo for their concerts first.
Following the argument, reports suggested that the singers
were generating publicity for an upcoming music competition sponsored by
Victoria University.
However, earlier today, at a press conference, vice
chancellor of Victoria University Dr. Lawrence Muganaga verified rumors.
Dr. Lawrence Muganaga claims that they have been paying
careful attention to the drama between Cindy Sanyu and their ambassador Sheebah
Karungi.
He mentioned that after talking with the two musicians, it
was decided to arrange a musical competition to decide the argument.
Yes, the fighting is happening; however, come September
15th, they will fight honorably and amuse Ugandans. I have no idea if they will
ever meet and shake hands; I have no idea what everyone is thinking; and I have
no idea if they will ever speak on the phone.
The musical competition is scheduled for September 15,
2023, at Kololo Airstrip, although no entrance fees had been collected as of
the time of publication.
