Tamale Mirundi Senior revealed
that Tamale Mirundi Junior was on the verge of being shot by him.
In an interview, Mirundi
revealed that, after his son denigrated Pastor Bugingo—who had just escaped an
attempted murder—he grew furious.
Pastor Bugingo had allegedly
been refused a visa, according to Mirundi's son. His son challenged him to a
fight when Mirundi questioned the veracity of these claims.
It was his security who
intervened to calm his kid down after Mirundi pulled out his pistol at that
precise moment, according to Mirundi.
Adding that this was not the
first time he had tried to hurt his son, Mirundi declared that he had disowned
him and promised never to forgive him.
In particular, Mirundi pointed out that the pastor had helped to pay for his medical bills and had contributed a substantial sum of money—more than Ugx 2 million—to his son's graduation, therefore his criticism of Pastor Bugingo was unjustified.
